Alcaraz needs hernia surgery

Antolin Alcaraz is set to undergo surgery on a hernia problem making him a major doubt for the start of the season.

The Paraguay defender was left out of Everton's tour of the US, although officials denied he was facing an operation; however, the Express says he is now set to go under the knife.
