Roberto Martinez unveiled the new Everton club crest at his press conference this morning, with Crest A garnering 78% of the votes in the club's official poll of supporters.

The design by Kenyon Fraser was the anecdotal favourite of the three choices from the outset and it will replace the controversial current badge at the end of this season.

Everton announced in May that they would be changing the badge they had revealed to fans at the end of the last season when it was met with a groundswell of opposition to the overall aesthetic and the omission of the club's famous Latin motto, Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

Three new options were presented to Evertonians last month and the vote was opened up to the club's customer base where the first design, Crest A, was the clear winner.
