Everton Football Club is inviting the next generation of Blues fans to come and experience the special atmosphere of Goodison Park for free.

The Blues are opening up the Lower Gwladys Street Stand for Everton's Under-21 Premier League fixture against Manchester United on Monday 21 October (7pm) for free to allow younger supporters the chance to experience the excitement of attending a matchday.

The Gwladys Street Stand is renowned for its passion and noise, where the rousing Everton chants begin to spur the team on and traditionally younger fans gravitated to for its pride and a strong ‘Blue' identity.

Ahead of the October half-term fixture, the Everton Fan Zone will also be operational and filled with activity aimed at young fans, including live music, entertainment, giveaways, and appearances from members of the first team, who will all be there to support what could be the next crop of future Everton players.

Tickets to watch Alan Stubbs' side take on Manchester United Under-21s are completely free of charge for any supporter and can be obtained by visiting the Park End Box Office, Everton One, Everton Two or Park End Reception at Goodison Park from Thursday 10 October until just before kick-off on Monday 21 October.

The Matchday Ambassadors will also be handing out tickets to the Under-21s game ahead of the Blues' Premier League fixture against Hull City on Saturday 19 October in the Everton Fan Zone.

Alan Myers, Director of Communications, said: “Matchdays at Goodison Park are really special and we understand that every young supporter is desperate to feel grown-up and aspires to sit in the Gwladys Street Stand, leading the matchday support.

“Of course on a normal matchday this may not be possible, so we felt it important to create an opportunity for young fans to do this in a controlled environment and the Under-21s fixture is the ideal time to do this.”

Alan continued: “The Under-21s have made a terrific start to their season, so we are in for a really exciting game against tough opposition. We hope all our junior fans, some who may not have been able to come to a fixture before, come along and enjoy the magic of Goodison Park.”

Entry to the fixture is completely free for any Evertonian with a valid ticket. Season Ticket Holders can gain entry on production of their season card at the turnstile. All fans aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please note any adults wanting to attend the game without a child can sit in the Upper Bullens Stand if they prefer. Tickets for the Upper Bullens Stand can also be obtained from the locations listed above.
