Arsenal beat Everton to sign goalkeeper Matt Macey from Bristol Rovers

Arsenal have added to their plethora of young talent by signing Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Matt Macey. Macey had offers from a host of other clubs, including Everton. Rovers have confirmed that the deal has been done in a short post on their official Twitter page: "Goalkeeper Matt Macey has now joined Arsenal #bristolrovers," the club tweeted. Arsenal are thought to be paying about £100k in compensation for the 6’6” shot-stopper.
