Depleted U21s lose to VIlla

Everton Under-21s lost 1-0 to Aston Villa at Goodison Park this evening. With many of the Blues youngsters out on loan, the side had an average age of just 17 and did well to hold out against a stronger Villa side until the hour mark.

Everton U21s: Griffiths; McLaughlin, Langton, Kenny, Touray; Williams, Ledson, Green (82' Connolly); Jones (69' Charsley), C Duffus, Dyson (57 Donohue).
