U21s beaten at Norwich

Everton's U21s went down to a 2-1 defeat at Carrow Road after Jamar Loza scored to restore the home side's lead with five minutes left.

Ty Browning had brought the Blues level at 1-1 in the second half to cancel out Murphy's heavily deflected first-half opener.

Everton U21s: Springthorpe; McLaughlin (45' Touray), Garbutt, Ledson, Pennington; Browning, Kennedy, Williams; Hope, McAleny (86' Walsh), Donohue (67' Charsley). Subs not Used: Griffiths, T Duffus.
