Everton duo help England U17s to Euro finals

Everton midfielder Ryan Ledson and defender Callum Connolly booked a place for England at the U17 European Championships in Malta as they beat Italy yesterday that secure their place.

Ledson, a hot prospect in the Blues' Academy at Finch Farm, captained the Young Lions as they won 2-1, their third victory of a week-long mini-tournament that decided the qualifiers for the finals in the summer.
