Bryan Oviedo continues his rapid recovery from his double leg-break back in January with the Costa Rican defender releasing more video of himself in training as he works to be ready in time for the World Cup Finals in June.

Oviedo suffered the horrific injury in Everton's FA Cup Fourth Round tie at Stevenage but was back on an exercise bike within three weeks of undergoing surgery to pin his fractured tibia and fibula.

His latest video clip, accompanied on Twitter by his typically positive "work hard, play hard" message, shows him in full strength-building mode, shuffling back and forth on a gym mattress to volley a ball.

Blues boss Roberto Martinez had indicated previously that there was a chance the 23 year-old could make an appearance in the final Premier League match of the season at Hull but he is expected to be fully fit for his country's campaign in Brazil this summer come what may.
