Vellios recalled from Blackpool loan

Apostolos Vellios will return to Everton this week after being recalled from his loan spell with Blackpool.

The terms of the 22-year-old Greek's move to the Championship side originally allowed for him to stay with them until the end of the season.

Vellios made only two appearances for the Seasiders against Queens Park Rangers and Yeovil Town but was substituted in both.

He hasn't played any part in any of Blackpool's last five games and was not included in the squad on Saturday that beat Wigan at the DW Stadium.
