Howard named in USA squad

As expected, Tim Howard has been named in the USA's 23-man squad for next month's World Cup Finals in Brazil.

There was no place, however, for ex-Everton loanee Landon Donovan who failed to make the cut.

Jurgen Klinsmann elected not to take the 32 year-old forward who is a veteran of the last three Finals and was the Americans' goalscoring hero in South Africa four years ago.
