Bleeding hell, here we go... the man hasn’t even put pen to paper and already Everton supporters ’who for years have been screaming for Kenwright to go’ are ripping him to pieces.

Well if I was Mr Moore’s and read some remarks from Everton supporters, I would look to invest my money elsewhere.

The 'phantom takeover' has all but disappeared from these columns and I have an edgy feeling that the Moores consortium is having a struggle to come up with the money.

Do we assume that discussion is on-going or maybe due diligence has flagged up some serious aspect that has had the Americans running for cover.

Either way, I know a progress report would be greatly appreciated by the minority shareholders and us mere lifelong Evertonians.
