Nothing further has emerged regarding the story since the Daily Mail raised it two days ago but the 21-year-old is the kind of exciting young player most Evertonians would like to see the Blues go after this summer.

Praet, who has scored 14 league goals in 100 appearances for Anderlecht and been capped by Belgium at all levels from the Under-15s up, is valued at around £10m.
