Gazetta dello Sport claim that, having missed out on Angelo Ogbonna and Scott Dann, Roberto Martinez has now set his sights on the 27-year-old who is valued around £6m.

Heurtaux has been with the Italian club for three years now after making the move from Caen where he began his career.

The 6-foot defender has played 84 times for Udinese in Serie A and scored five goals.
