This has led social media to believe Memphis Depay has let the cat out of the bag with Lukaku supposedly set to become Louis Van Gaal's "surprise"signing?

Sky Bet have slashed odds from 6/1 to 7/4 on the move actually happening following a cryptic Instagram post by Memphis Depay that has sparked speculation – in the The Independent no less! – that a deal for Lukaku is on the cards.

There is, of course, a simple explanation in that Lukaku lives in the Greater Manchester area and he will no doubt be knocking around with his mate when he's not playing football!
