Swansea's Williams is the latest defender linked

Everton are reported to be vying with Crystal Palace for Swansea City defender Ashley Williams as Roberto Martinez continues his search for reinforcements at centre half.

The sticking point, however – assuming there is any truth to The Mirror's claim – is the fact that the Swans are apparently asking for £12m for a player who will turn 31 next month.
