Real Madrid winger linked again

The 24-year-old was apparently a target for both Merseyside's Premier League clubs in the summer but the reds reportedly failed with a £15m bid and Cheryshev is believed to have been the player the Blues tried to land at the very last minute of the transfer window but couldn't persuade Real to part with him.

That loan offer could be revived in January, because Cheryshev is seeking a loan move for the second half of the season to keep himself in the frame for Euro2016.
