The Mirror report that the Blues are looking to "hijack" Leicester City's bid to land the 19-year-old by also meeting the former Midland club's £3.7m asking price.

BBC Sport reported tonight that Gray was "a step closer" to joining the Foxes after their bid was accepted by Birmingham but it remains to be seen if Everton are actually interested in matching it.
