Everton linked with former City striker

26/01/2016  0 Comment  [Jump to last]
The Blues are mentioned as potential suitors for Felipe Caicedo who apparently has a £7.3m release clause in his contract at Espanyol.

Mundo Deportivo report that Everton are prepared to trigger the clause for a player who is also apparently wanted by Newcastle. Marca have also previously reported on Roberto Martinez's interest in the Ecuadorian striker who was on Manchester City's books between 2008 and 2011.

Caicedo is described as a key figure for Espanyol but has hardly been prolific in La Liga, with a record of 15 goals in 55 appearances.
