Chinese clubs eye Pienaar move

A number of players from European clubs have made the move to China in the past few weeks where offers of big contracts and large transfer fees have proved to be a big temptation.

The likes of Jackson Martinez, Ramires, Stéphane Mbia, Obafemi Martins, Alex Teixeira and former Everton striker Jà´ have all accepted moves there in the current transfer window.

MailOnline suggest that Pienaar, who is fit again but struggling to hold down a first-team place at Goodison, could be one of the next to go east, although the 34-year-old has battled homesickness in the past and might think twice about moving so far from his family.
