Want-away Lukaku unlikely to remain in the Premier League

Romelu Lukaku has made clear his desire to leave Everton this summer but his lack of enthusiasm for a return to Chelsea or to potentially work under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United makes the Continent his most likely destination.

That's the assertion of Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà who claims to have the inside track to Lukaku's agent, Mino Raiola.

Pedullà suggests that the Belgian striker wants to leave Goodison Park but isn't keen on a return to Stamford Bridge because of the circumstances of his departure from Chelsea two years ago.

For the same reason, the idea of working under the manager who sold him should Mourinho take the reins at Old Trafford doesn't appeal either. With those two clubs the most likely destination for Lukaku in England, it increases the odds that Juventus or, more likely, Paris St Germain are in pole position to land him should his Everton days be over.
