Social media claims of Martinez's imminent dismissal

Calls from supporters for the Catalan to be removed of his duties as the Toffees manager have reached unprecedented levels in the wake of the club's humiliation in the Merseyside derby and yesterday's agonising defeat in the FA Cup semi-final.

In ToffeeWeb's current poll that has received over 2,000 votes, 95% of respondents say they think Martinez's time is up and he should be sacked.

It's worth noting that one of the tweeted rumours suggests that there was a meeting at the Mercure Hotel in Haydock that included Bill Kenwright and Farhad Moshiri but, given that both are based in London and yesterday's semi-final was also in the capital, it's a stretch to believe that they met in the northwest.
