Everton hold talks with De Boer's agent

13/05/2016  0 Comment  [Jump to last]

De Boer has emerged as an early favourite for the position after he announced his decision to step down as manager of Ajax this week.

The 45-year-old has jetted out with the Dutch club to fulfil a prior engagement in China for the next five days but Albers, who also represents Southampton boss Ronald Koeman, is available in his absence.

Whether or not there is any truth to this report that Albers met with the Everton hierarchy today (Friday), both he and De Boer's brother Ronald have already stated Frank's interest in the Everton job.
