China an option for Kone

A number of players from the European leagues have been making their way to the Chinese Super League recently; they are spending big to heighten the profile of the game there and the Liverpool Echo claim that Kone could join them.

The 32-year-old triggered an additional year to his Everton contract last season but he will be one of a handful of players whose futures will be uncertain with Ronald Koeman soon to be named as Roberto Martinez's successor at Goodison Park.
