In an illustration of the unreliability of tabloid newspaper stories, particularly on Sundays, Everton are supposedly after Fraser Forster and Kasper Schmeichel as Ronald Koeman's first signing.

The Mirror claim that Koeman has identified Schmeichel as the man to challenge Joel Robles for the first-choice jersey at Goodison Park.

Meanwhile, the Express say that Koeman will raid his soon-to-be-former club Southampton for Forster, despite the fact that he just signed a new contract at St Mary's Stadium.
