Koeman weighing up move for Schneiderlin

The French midfielder who played under the Dutch manager for a season at Southampton before joining Manchester United last summer, is supposedly surplus to Jose Mourinho's requirements at Old Trafford, particularly if he can lure Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, and that could pave the way for a £25m move to Goodison Park.

Schneiderlin made 29 appearances for United last season in a campaign that was disrupted by injury and played 230 times in the league for Southampton before that.
