Fanatik in Istanbul claim that the Blues have had the 21-year-old watched recently and his reputation is now growing after his goalscoring turn for Turkey at Euro2016.

Tufan, regarded as one of Turkey's best young players, banged home the second goal in his country's 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in their final game in Group D last month.

Fanatik claim that while Manchester United were favourites to sign Tufan this summer, the player has indicated a preference to move to Goodison Park instead.
