Stones requests Manchester City move

That's according to Paul Joyce at the Express who says that the Blues will hold out for £50M if they have to lose their defensive starlet.

The 22-year-old centre-half originally slapped a transfer request in last August amid repeated attempts by Chelsea to sign him with offers that reportedly went as high as £38M but Everton held firm, primarily due to the lack of time available to sign a comparable replacement.

Stones was talked into staying by then manager Roberto Martinez but another awful Premier League season, which cost Martinez his job, has not helped convince the England international that he should stay with the Toffees, even with Ronald Koeman now on board.
