Paul Joyce in the Express claims that the Blues are now asking for £75m which would make him prohibitively expensive for all but a couple of clubs this transfer window.

Lukaku, who has made plenty of noises in recent weeks about wanting to join a Champions League club in time for the next season, apparently told reporters that "I will have to talk to the club" why asked about his future following Belgium's exit from Euro2016 at the hands of Wales.

Reports also suggest that the same situation won't apply to John Stones who, it has been said, will be allowed to leave, most likely for Manchester City if they are prepared to pay £50m for him.
