Everton are weighing up a big-money move for Icelandic international star Gylfi Sigurdsson according to a report.

The Telegraph claim that Ronald Koeman has identified the 26-year-old as a marquee signing for the summer, with both he and new Director of Football Steve Walsh both said to be long-time admirers.

The report says that the Blues are lining up a £25m bid for Sigurdsson who impressed, as expected, for Iceland at Euro2016 and is approaching the point in his career at Swansea where he would be offered a new contract or could be sold on for maximum value.
