Swansea deny deal with Everton over £10m Williams

Swansea have denied the report, although both the Liverpool Echo and WalesOnline say the Blues are definitely interested in the defender.

Williams, 32 next month, was linked on and off with the Blues under Roberto Martinez but it only ever proved to be paper talk and this could be more Sunday tabloid fare.

Williams has excelled as Swansea's captain in recent seasons, has plenty of Premier League experience and was an important member of Wales's spirited run at Euro2016.
