Everton tracking Portuguese duo

Carvalho was believed to be high on Ronald Koeman's summer wishlist and at one point close to making a switch from Sporting to Goodison Park last month but the talk has failed to materialise into anything substantive thus far.

Now, Record in Portugal, the outlet that first mentioned the Blues' bid for Carvalho, say that Koeman has added Silva to his target list.

Both players would cost north of €20m and they each have release clauses a lot higher than that so it would take some persuasion to get the Lisbon club to part with either.

For what it's worth, MailOnline claim that Everton have "cooled" their interest in Carvalho.
