Niasse's Galatasaray move stalls over fee
The Senegal striker looked destined to join the Turkish giants on a season-long loan with an option to buy him outright next summer but a Haber claims that the two clubs failed to agree terms.
The report says that Galatasaray found the €1.5m loan fee for 2016-17 and the €7.5m permanent fee Everton were asking to be too steep, particularly, as coach Jan Olde Riekerink put it, "Let's not worry about players for next season, we can't afford our players this year."
There were rumours that Niasse had been given permission to fly to Turkey earlier this week to complete the deal but he is believed to still be at Finch Farm.
Further rumour has it that the Senegalese striker has not been assigned a squad number for the new season which, if true, would indicate that he is unlikely to feature for the Blues again.
