Brendan Galloway could find himself back at Finch Farm when the next transfer window opens according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion are likely to terminate the Everton defender's season-long loan in January according to The Telegraph.

In a somewhat surprising move from Everton's perspective, Galloway joined the Baggies in August with a view to gaining more first-team, experience at the Hawthorns.

A regular starter at Everton under Roberto Martinez during Leighton Baines's injury problems last season, Galloway appeared to have done enough to warrant a crack at displacing the Blues' more senior left back this season before eventually transitioning back to his more natural role as a centre half.

However, Ronald Koeman had seemingly made a determination over pre-season that the ex-MK Dons player would benefit more from a spell on loan.

Galloway hasn't had much of a look at West Brom since late September, however, and the Telegraph report suggests that Everton will seek talks with Tony Pulis and the Midlanders' board over whether it would be best for him to return to Merseyside if he is out of favour.
