SportPesa have emerged as bidders for the Toffees' shirt sponsorship deal which is up for tender at the end of this season when Chang's existing contract ends.

Everton have had a decade-long association with the Thai brewing company but are in the market to significantly increase their commercial income with their next sponsors.

Based in Kenya and owned and operated by Pevans East Africa Limited, SportPesa have commercial ties with Arsenal and currently sponsor Hull City in an arrangement that, at £3m a year, is below what Everton receive from Chang each season.

The Liverpool Echo claim, however, that Farhad Moshiri and his board are to hold talks with SportPesa regarding a more lucrative deal that would surpass the £5.3m per annum Chang contract.
