Everton 'open' to offers for Cleverley

The midfielder was picked up on a free transfer from Manchester United by Roberto Martinez but he has struggled to hold down a first-team place since Koeman's arrival.

He was named in the starting XI to face his old club last Saturday in the Blues' 1-1 draw with United but was substituted after a disappointing showing midway through the second half.

This report could just be opportunistic rumour-mongering following Saturday's televised match but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Cleverley move on if the right offer came in.

The Mirror say their sources suggest a number of clubs are interested.
