Double Old Trafford raid mooted

Ronald Koeman has made no secret of the fact that he would be interested in signing his compatriot next month should he be made available, while a reunion with Schneiderlin would also make sense for both parties.

The French midfielder has hardly featured under Jose Mourinho this season and with Everton in need of a long-term replacement for Gareth Barry, it would not be surprising if an enquiry had been made.

Squawka claim that the duo were discussed prior to the two clubs' meeting at Goodison Park last Saturday and Koeman's need for Depay or another winger only deepened later in the day when. Yannick Bolasie damaged his ACL and is likely out for the remainder of the season.
