Everton will target Demarai Gray next month after losing Yannick Bolasie for the rest of the current season at least.

The Blues were reportedly vying with Leicester City for the 21-year-old's signature last January before Steve Walsh acquired him for the Foxes from Birmingham City.

Ronald Koeman is also said to have been keen on the wide man last year while he was still manager at Southampton.

Now, with Walsh at Everton as director of football and Gray having made just six starts for the champions this season, The Mirror claim that a planned summer move for the player will be moved up to the January window as Koeman seeks cover for the injured Bolasie.

Memphis Depay is also hotly tipped to link up with his compatriot at Goodison Park is a deal can be agreed with Manchester United.
