Everton and Manchester United are in talks over the sale of Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton according to reports.

The Daily Mail, Daily Star and Manchester Evening News all claim that a deal to take Schneiderlin to Goodison Park next month is being discussed, a move that would end the out-of-favour Frenchman's unsuccessful 18-month spell at Old Trafford.

Clearly not fancied by Jose Mourinho who has given him just 11 minutes worth of action in the Premier League so far this season. Schneiderlin could jump at the chance to reunite with Ronald Koeman under whom he played at Southampton before he was sold last year.

His current club mate Memphis Depay is also still being linked with a loan switch to Everton, although AS Roma have emerged as potential suitors as they look to plug the gap that will be left Mohamed Salah when he leaves for Africa Cup of Nations duty.
