Deulofeu could seek January move

That's the contention of Dario Sport journalist Gerard Romero who tweeted as such earlier today, although he does not specify whether it would be on loan or on a permanent basis.

Deulofeu returned to Everton with much fanfare in 2015 after an ultimately unsuccessful season-long loan at Sevilla from Barcelona.

The Blues paid just £4.2m for him at the time, although Barça insisted on a couple of buy-back clauses in case the young winger fulfilled the star potential he showed as a teenager in their B team.

Thus far, while he has excelled at Under-21 level for Spain, he has struggled to hold down a first-team place at Goodison and has been in and out the side under new manager Ronald Koeman.
