Moshiri courting Chinese consortium

| Sunday, 23 April 2017  0 Comment  [Jump to last]
Everton are in talks with an un-named but wealthy group in China regarding an tranche of investment that would help boost the club's ability to fund a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The Mirror claim that Farhad Moshiri is looking to a Chinese consortium to come on board to partner in providing significant backing for the construction of the new ground, leaving funds in place for team building.

The report suggests that the Far Eastern group would be awarded the stadium's naming-rights contract.
