Bertrand Traoré is in high demand this summer if a report in France is any indication, although it bears the hallmarks of his agent generating interest in his client.

Foot Mercato cite a source close to the 21-year-old claiming that Traore is the subject of serious interest from six clubs, with Everton among them.

The Toffees have supposedly joined West Ham, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Lille, Lyon and Schalke in making inquiries, with the source suggesting that one club has already made an offer of around £15m, slightly short of Chelsea's valuation.

London paper Metro go further today, reporting that Traore could form part of Chelsea's offering to Everton for Romelu Lukaku and that that deal could be affected if Traore joins West Ham instead.

Born in Burkina Faso, Traoré is one of the myriad players that Chelsea have hoovered up to loan out and potentially sell on for big profit in recent years.

He spent time on loan at the Londoners' feeder club Vitesse Arnhem before spending last season at Ajax. In between he briefly broke into Chelsea's first team but does not appear to part of the senior picture at Stamford Bridge.
