Not surprising that one of the first quotes is about the weather here. I wonder just how much of a turn off the northern weather is for foreign footballers. This so called summer has been the worst in my memory and the likes of Vlasic and Ramires mustn't know what's hit them.

A good article, until the last quote which expresses his happiness at Everton but starts with the caveat "For now" when looking to his future.

I agree, I am from Norway and it has been just as bad here, I am so sick and tired of the sun hiding willfully away, only shining in central Europe this summer.

I think Vlasic is going to be like laven Bilic – another Croatian legend... hoping for the best.
