Good article. As pointed out, Courtois was graceless in his comments, and also very stupid given Pickford's performance last night. His save in stoppage time was astonishing, and would probably have put England through without extra time if it hadn't been for the blunder by the defence that led to the Colombian goal. His save in the shootout was the pivotal moment. Dead chuffed for the lad.

Footage of his flying save is doing the rounds across the globe. Shame circumstances overtook it because it was worthy of several replays.
