How is he still an Everton player?

At 24 he should have made it here by now. Or not. Same age as Zouma

Why is he still on the books??

Time to get some money in and offload Matty, as he’s not gonna ever play for the EFC first team.

Time flies by these days and he needs to move for his own good, he’ll make a career in football, but not at EFC.

Even though I didnt think he'd make our first team he did well last year. This would give him some invaluable experience, so who knows.

Turkish clubs appear to want Everton players on the cheap but want over the odds on players like Tosun who have flopped but with an outlay of £27 million.

Can we throw in Tosun as a makeweight in the Pennington loan.

I just wonder how the Turks are going to pay. Their Lira has taken another knock, down more than 30% to the US$ since last year.

Erdogan is making a dog's dinner of the Turkish economy, hence his party losing the election of the mayor of Istanbul.

If you’ve been to Turkey, Francis, you know they will pay in Turkish Lira, but wait for their change in dollars!

I've only been to Turkey once, a long weekend in Istanbul, but that was in the last century. 1997 to be precise (just after our father had died).

We couldn't make out why Lady Di's picture was on the front of their papers. Only when we got home did we realise she'd been killed in that accident.

It was a tragedy, Francis, but I'm not sure it was an accident though, mate.

Another tragedy is that Everton haven't won anything this century, and we are already a fifth of the way through it.

First Costa, now Delph, surely we're not going back to Dad's Army. I think we're gonna need a bigger bench.

Good to luck to him but I think we need to sell permanently for a million or so and insert a grotto full of Santa's.

Good player, just not good enough but will improve.
