A couple of other erstwhile Everton youths are still around and riding the bench for Hull, in its promotion playoff first leg against Millwall.
John Lundstram and Kieran Dowell.

Good spot, Jimmy.
I thought they were with other clubs.

"I thought they were with other clubs."
They were with several, each. They didn't play today or much this season.
Wasn't much to today's game, either.

Well neither of those two last night look worthy. Meanwhile, it looks like Boro are at least having a go. Per the Stats:
These stats tell a story...
Possession: Middlesbrough 76% - 24% Southampton
Shots: Middlesbrough 17-0 Southampton
Shots on target: Middlesbrough 4-0 Southampton
Corners: Middlesbrough 9-0 Southampton
Touches in opposition box: Middlesbrough 37-0 Southampton
But the key stat...
Goals: Middlesbrough 0-0 Southampton

Boro ought to be ashamed. They dominated.
On the other side of it, Southampton hasn't lost in the league since January.
Does Millwall still carry its old reputation? Pretty long time ago. Didn't all clubs have Firms? Even for self-defense?

I want Hull or Boro up Joe.
We've been overrun with southern sides in the league for a good few years now.

Know what you mean Jim, but I like the Millwall manager, and it's a London club that's not a usual Sky favourite.
Our old mate Tim Cahill would agree with me! 🤘

Millwall did not deserve to go to Wembley. They were utter shite in both games. But their morons will now be made up as they get to play either Spurs or the Hammers next season.
I have a pathological hated of 'Boro and the last of the four teams I would want to have played would be the Saints.
Saints v Hull in the final. Hull never lose in play-off finals. But they will lose this one.
