If anybody's interested, Norway is the physically largest team in World Cup history. Average 6'2" and 185.
They won't win the tournament, but they'll win the fight afterwards.

Yes Jack, two well finished goals, could you see Barry doing that? Holding players off, making the ball his, and finishing? Nah..
A good buy, as opposed to a good bye 😀

Sweden's Ayari looks a player. Brighton paid AIK £4m, 3 years ago, Loaned him to Blackburn for a season and now he's worth £20m plus. That's the way to do it.

We can forget Summerville. Not that Everton were ever likely interested in him. Too young, too skillful and scores goals.
TransfrMarkt value him at £35M, well that's now increased.
Anyone else fed up of our joke of a club?

Who's the worst and best pundit match commentator co host - I'll start - Shearer the worst for me, too up his own arse and why does nobody in the production team tell him he's shouts a lot !
The best is McCoist - quick to spot tactical changes etc and a great sense of humour.

Lee Dixon.. the absolute worst, most boring, miserable, voice like his woke up with a hangover after a 3 day bender, no enthusiasm, makes a boss game seem like the the most boring you've ever watched.
Don't mind danny Murphy to be fair, but warnock I can't stand !!

He didn't turn right to shake the hand of the Ivory Coast's gaffer Andrew E., but headed straight to his players.
Nice story Tony. I also remember how reciprocal we were in flocking in droves to the Hofbrauhaus for the strippers and steins before the Derby.

You can just tell Nagelsman is all show and bravado, Those players dont need coaching, theyre all top players anyway, they work it out for themselves on the pitch
Nagelsman just makes subs with good players replacing good players, then takes all the credit, he is deffo a prick.
And his first name is Julien, so there you go.

Brighton bought Undav in Jan 2022 for £7m and sold him in August 2024 to Stuttgart for almost £27m.
The youg lad in Ivory Coast midfield, Christ Inao Oulaï, is 20 and plays for Trabzonspor. Price £23m as of now. He cost Trabzonspor £5m in July 2024. What the fack are the scouts at EFC doing because they can't be out there scouting. The lad is another Kante in the making.
and yes the German manager is a deffo tit.

I'd forgotten about Brighton Jack. He didn't really catch the eye there did he: 5 goals in 22 appearances over two seasons (I just checked). But he still went for around four times the fee Brighton forked out and he is scoring over one in two games at Stuttgart,

John, I'm really looking forward to watching Japan later - 11PM my time. They play like the USA but have better players in my opinion. We should be trying to buy any Japanese player who is signed by Celtic (and Brighton).
Olise has been the stand-out player for me so far.
'merican commentators/pundits/production continue to drive me nuts. Man of the Match has now become The Superior Player of the Match.

'kin Hell, after the season(s) they have had, Spuds apparently bidding around 80 million for Tonali in the same week that they shelled out 52 million for van Hecke.
Spurs are not in Europe. Spurs were some way below us in the league. But they seem to have money to burn and players want to go there.

Was at the Netherlands vs Sweden match. The Swedish defense was more like the Swiss defense...in terms of cheese. They couldn't stop the Dutch at all.
Other than that, all I could think about was how much Sunderland is going to make on the Brobbey sale. The guy was a beast.

You're in Houston Bill (48)! Any chance that you might grab a chat some time with Saint Daniel the Absent? You might need to remind him who Everton are but maybe you could give him advice and a common sense talking to mate.
Somerville was also on our radar Bill when he headed south to West Ham. We had a chance then but not now.

Paul
I spent most of last summer saying we should have been going after Kubo instead of Dibling but was told on here, why would Kubo come to Everton, and we couldn't afford him.
Well we paid £40 million for Dibling so I'll say we could definitely have bought Kubo.
There are probably many of a similar ilk bit our scouts are shite.
