A scholar is a person who has "extensive knowledge" of a specific subject, usually acquired through "advanced"' study and research. The term frequently refers to an academic or researcher.
So someone who is yet to be fully skilled, in what is the most basic sport on the planet, which actually requires very little, if any skills, is now called a scholar. Oh, Ok sure.

Pupils are called scholars in some posh schools Paul - 1. Also, scholars are the lucky ones who get academic scholarships to develop their learning mate.

I hope to God that he is no relation - Divine Madueke (Right-Back). No problem with Divine though, and I am still fuming that we let Goodness Gospel-Eze go this summer.

Good luck to each and everyone.

Would love to see Kai Hutchison succeed.

Great to see Jonathon Nsangou has chosen to take his scholarship with Everton a lad who has enormous talent, it was rumoured that Liverpool had convinced him to join them, if he keeps improving it will still be nervous waiting for him to sign his first professional contract with us.

It's devine intervention we will need this season if certain players leave. If our owners get the proverbial
Thumb out the wallet then we may have a chance of a European place. But we ain't gonna do it being force fed news about academy incomings. Prepare for improved contract for Barrington, the second coming of Coleman, " That will take the.mustard" and no new strikers or full backs. Ahhh, the love of all things stay the same.
