Everton U21s 1 – 1 Liverpool U21s
Everton U21s started their Premier League 2 campaign with a Goodison mini-derby against Liverpool that ended in a draw.
The young Blues fell behind after just 13 minutes, but Jack Patterson (17′) got them back level just 4 minutes later. And that’s how it stayed.
In an incident near the end, Braiden Graham reacted when he was fouled dangerously by a Liverpool midfielder. The Liverpool goalkeeper was then sent off for bringing down Justin Clarke.
