A few years ago, Wenger publicly said that AJ was a diver. Resulting from that our little striker was fair game for dozens of ugly tackles with no chance of earning a deserved free kick or penalty.
The publicity Moyes stirred up could be of benefit by raising the awareness of referees toward Fabregas's mouthing off and card waving antics. Wenger is no fool and he can see problems ahead for his captain.
This incident stirred memories of the time Chelsea's great ball playing forward Peter Osgood nutmegged our fullback Sandy Brown early on in a match at Goodison. From that point, he avoided all possible contact with Sandy and faded completely out of the game.
Questioned later, Osgood complained that Sandy had said he "would break his legs" if he tried that again.
Those kind of words could be heard on parks all over the country. They were used by no-nonsense defenders to put the shits up Fancy Dan opponents. Here I have to admit that I myself said such things on more than one occasion.
The upshot of it all was Osgood became a laughing stock for raising the issue. Then again, that was in a time when men were men.

But it is the same against Brentford, Moyes complaining about the bottle incident. I live in the south east now, and the chairman of my lads club is a Brentford fan who was at the game, speaking to him, he said Moyes had conveniently forgot to mention that the bottle was actually thrown from the Everton section first, before being lashed back.
Now if he only did that with his team mates...
Step 1. Say you know nothing about it, and have heard or seen nothing.
Step 2. Admit you have heard something about the incident, but deny it happened.
If steps 1 & 2 fail...
Step 3. Change the subject by furiously claiming your accusers have something to gain by attacking you, and that it is all part of a conspiracy against your organisation.
It is pure Putin or Berlusconi. And, just as in those countries, the cynicism, contempt for honesty and justice, and determination to fill your boots at all costs percolates right down through the club.
I live in Islington, and have seen how Arsenal FC ? which is basically a property company with a football team on the side ? have bullied the Council time and time again into getting their way. Fabregas is just the on-pitch expresssion of the same ethos.
Why not talk about how and why we played so rubbish in the 2nd half? Had we taken the 3 points I doubt this would have been brought up. Just another excuse I'm afraid.
One of the things that I have to say I was impressed with, was when we played Liverpool last season when the Greek thug attacked Fellaini and got sent off. Fellaini also could have been dismissed, and Pienaar was lucky not to go, but, to their credit, many Evertonians came on here, and said that we could also have suffered at least one dismissal, and when you read balanced, and fair reports, it restores your faith in the fair mindedness of ALL football fans, not just our own, when we are prepared to admit that the likes Arteta and Anichebe are not angels either.

I myself had a similar episode to Sandy Brown's. Playing in a pre-season friendly against Norwich City as a 17-year-old for Lowestoft Town. After nut-megging City's centre-half, a toothless giant called Duncan Forbes, he looked down at me and said "do that again son, and I´ll break both of your legs".
Needless to say, I was shitting bricks rest of the game. Aaah! the good old days!
Fabregas is a rat but there's no way he meant what he said, it was just hyperbole to express his disgust at the decision.
Anyway, we would never bribe someone to throw a game, just ask Hans Segars!
Good on Moyes for showing up that foul-mouthed Barcelona-loving twat Fabregas.
More of this please, Moyes, I wish Moyes would open his mouth more ? especially about our chairman.
Moyes was quick to come out and tell everybody what goes on behind the scenes at Arsenal only wish he could give us some clue whats going on behind the scenes at Everton.

Newcastle morally stuffing it to Fabregas and Wenger coming back from 4-0 down. Great stuff!p>Forget all that jabber in the tunnel and elsewhere. It's going on all the time. Moyes should have just forgotten about it as now it just appears as sour grapes because the official didn't have the guts to report it. The bickering between managers especially when they lose is not what we want to hear. Just give us the footie.
