Can't see the last one happening and why would O'Neill come when he told his last employers to do one when they wouldn't give him money?. To be honest, apart from a wage packet, why would anyone want to come to us?. I am surprised that Moyes hasn't walked yet and judging by his demeanour yesterday, it may not be too long.

Can't think of anyone who a) wouldn't be faced with the same problems with regards to ( lack off) financial clout. b) would do any better with the players available or c) isn't currently out of a job for very good reasons ie failure at clubs where often more money has been available....so what makes anyone think they could do better with what's available here?
I'm not saying Moyes is infallible ( tin hat firmly in place) and at times his tactics smack of real panic/desperation - but better the devil and all that.
In my view, its the wrong question being asked - it should be ' would you like the board to pull its finger out and do what we all want....get investment in - or get out?

Here's another question - even more frightening in its implications - if you were an investor, in the current climate, would you invest in a club with the ground and match day facilities we have - turning over only £22million PER SEASON ( Manure £100 Million, arsenal £90 odd Million, RS £48 Million etc).

No i don't want him to go, my personal feeling is, he has been limited in his ability to by players, yes i know the current team is his, but there has been no real turnover of players in the last couple of years, losing Pienaar was a blow. I really believe he would if given sufficient funds take us forward. But i have reservations about his judgement on high priced players, as he has picked a couple of turds, whether they were his first choice players or whatever, was it wages etc!

Dragan Stojkovic - The Pretender to Wenger. The blind, moaning, lying, old git being the only manager a Moyes-hater could convince me would have been able to do a better job than DM on a Kenwright sized budget.

What a wonderful player Dragan Stojkovic was, but for me the most talented up and coming is Paul Lambert, he has europeon experinece as a player, has won big trophies, and has worked wonders at first Wycombe then Norwich, someones gonna take a chance on him and when they do I believe it will pay off

It's unfortunate but inevitable that this is the subject on all Evertonians lips after the Bolton game,many of sinilar games played this season.
After no action in the transfer window it was obvious that Kenwright and Moyes were sticking by their guns and thinking things will improve with what we have. Well they were both dead wrong and most knowledgeable fans are right.
We face the rest of the Prem.season with little confidence and after this Saturday will be lucky if we are still in the Cup.
Enough is enough and a new regime must be brought in.

2) I do not really want him to go, although having a probably disgruntled man in charge wouldn't be advisable;
3) Realistic alternatives:

Not ideal, but it still might be the difference between survival & relegation (along with the ensuing administration that could neatly set us up for another drop next season). The Board, the manager & half of the players seem to have been here too long & we seem to be back were we were a few years ago, but carrying a lot more debt.

Maybe - I think that without new owners or investment he might be tempted to resign. But only if there is another bigger, better job on offer. Most likely, he will wait for Ferguson to retire and try to pick up that job.

Failing that, some new players - we need to use the money that we get from the almost inevitable sale of at least Fellaini in the summer to bring in a top-class striker above all. There is a gaping quality void at the top of the team whenever Saha is injured or unfit (ie most of the time). But if Moyes isn't up to making some tough decisions or his heart isn't in it given our parlous financial state, maybe he should go.

There's a guy called Eddie Howe at Burnley whose record is incredible. He took Bournemouth up in his first job and could yet get Burnley up in half a season.
Other than that, Paul Lambert, (our previous manager taken from Norwich did really well!) and also Simon Grayson would merit consideration.

3) David Jones - to keep Cardiff City in the hunt for promotion to the Premier League, with the threat of winding up orders in the background is a great achievement.

The fact of the matter is that there are lots of better options than Moyes. There's Chris Coleman, Alan Curbishley & Gareth Southgate who could be added to the list. We can't blame a lack of funds for Moyes' lack of imagination. Predictable, plodding & past-it, I'm afraid.

I think Curbishley did a lot more at Charlton with a lot less than Moyes has done at Everton, which is a medium sized club whilst Charlton is a small club.
The point is not that the managers were sacked but the style of football that they encouraged. Southgate at Middlesbrough played with a 4-3-3 formation. Can you imagine Moyes doing that? Coleman at Fulham also did inventive stuff with a lot less than Moyes.
Others have hammered the point to death: Moyes is incapable of raising his game above mid-table mediocrity.
